Global action for the arts

Sir Michael supports the responsible use of artificial intelligence as tools for artists. At the Royal Society of Arts in the United Kingdom, he was a founding member and is Co-Lead of the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Network. Meanwhile in the United States, his work at the Graphic Artists Guild sees him as part of its Advocacy Committee on the front lines of impacting change.

Work as a knight

The Philippine Order of the Knights of Rizal sponsors several charitable projects across the globe. Sir Michael actively supports the cultural and community service activities of the Order and the Consulate General of the Philippines in New York. Sir Michael leads one of the local Order’s administrative committees. He is a recipient of the Order’s Distinguished Service Medal.

Advocating for the unhoused and hungry

Growing up near the slums, Sir Michael has always been passionate about improving the living conditions of people everywhere. He has lobbied policymakers on Capitol Hill with Habitat for Humanity, raised funds for Feeding America and for emergency food drives in the Philippines, and has volunteered with No Kid Hungry.
